In October of 2024, I joined an incredible team at WDG Real Estate Partners. My primary focus as Managing Director is to lead our expansion in the Florida market and provide market analysis, site selection, acquisition and development services to our build-to-suit clients around the southeast.

Prior to my development career, I focused on the marketing and sale of commercial real estate. It was a blast and I had the opportunity to broker properties all over the United States. It feels like I’ve sold everything… an aircraft hanger, a bed & breakfast, 6,000 acres of desert land including a copper mine, plus all the usual deals in retail, office, land, multi-family and industrial. Between brokering and developing, I’ve closed in excess of $300,000,000 in transactions over my career. I was recognized in both 2010 and 2011 by the Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors as a Top Ten Producer. I’m a licensed broker in Florida, Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina. Also, I’m a huge fan of Emory University where I graduated from the Goizueta Business School with BBA and MBA degrees.

Back in 2015, I co-founded Church Fuel. It creates insanely practical resources that move the church forward. Most of its resources are online, so we were able to work with senior pastors from all over the world. Although we sold Church Fuel in 2017, we still love the local church and we’re passionate about helping it grow in a healthy way. My experience building Church Fuel showed me that organizations need help automating the important and reducing the complexity of new technology.

Since everyone seems to have a side hustle, I joined the fun and started Whitmire Real Estate Company, LLC back in 2022 which provides me the opportunity to broker and even develop smaller projects that WDG isn’t interested in. It’s been a great way to measure the pulse and keep track of the overall real estate market. Lately, I’ve found myself helping place 1031 Exchange investments, consulting on new market expansion strategy, and negotiate a commercial building sale.  

After 11+ years in Jacksonville Beach, my family and I moved in June 2026 back to Atlanta where much of my career was built and our extended family still resides. The driver is straightforward: proximity matters. Being close to WDG Real Estate Partners Atlanta HQ (our executive team and engineers) is a significant multiplier on what I can deliver for our clients and partners each day.

My development focus remains firmly rooted in Florida, where our ongoing projects continue to move forward across the state. Now, I’m simply better positioned to execute, collaborate and create value. To my Florida friends and colleagues: don’t worry — I’ll continue to be a frequent visitor throughout Central, Southwest, and Northeast Florida, so please keep those retail development opportunities and sites coming my way.
